	A CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE It was in 1906 that the original Pines Course, presided by the Duke of Argyll, brother-in-law to King Edward VII, attracted numerous golfers from Northern Europe. In 1931, it was re-designed by Tom Simpson and ever since has been host to many National and International Competitions. A BRITISH - STYLE COURSE IN A PINE FOREST Built and designed in a superb forest, it is the symbol of a British style which has survived the generations.
