Affiliated since 1987, the Golf Club La Margherita was established as a "country club" on the initiative of a group of friends who were swept up by the enthusiasm and passion shown by two authentic local Piedmont and national-level golf legends: Luciano Roccia and Piero Cora. The veritable Golf Club was established as a result, which has grown over time by hosting national and international competitions.
The golf course is located conveniently close to the city of Turin. The competition golf course is technical and challenging. Furthermore, it is always kept in perfect condition by its qualified and competent staff. The facilities, all of which are renovated or undergoing renovation, are perfectly able to meet the needs of members and guests.
18 trous | 6000meters | Par 72 | Architect : Marco Croze
In the industry rankings, La Margherita golf club is among the twenty best golf courses in Italy. The course includes 18 holes par 72 and runs for over 6 kilometres with a rather uneven tendency: the large and well cared for fairways are surrounded by water obstacles, while the fast and undulating greens are well protected by bunkers.
The design of the golf course was entrusted to Marco Croze, who realised, among others, the courses in Albarella and Riva dei Tessali, and Giorgio Ferraris; the latter also designed our modern and functional club house.
La Margheita is a slightly undulating championship course located on the edges of a pine grove.
The water hazards, rolling grounds and bunkers make it a unique, appealing course for players of all abilities.
The designers put all their skill into creating the course, and the result is stimulating: front the tiger tees, the game becomes extremely challenging given the lenght oh the holes. Always enjoyable to play on and with beautifully kept turfand greens, the course challenges golfers to give their very best every time they tee up.
