Chantilly Princely City...
Chantilly has been living for over four centuries at the rhythm of its Castle. Since Anne de Montmorency, in the XVIth century, the ground of Chantilly was walked by the biggest, that they are kings, princes, dukes, duchesses or poets. The practice of hunting was usual and big receptions were being held there. Chantilly thus kept the mark of this period with the Castle and its Condé museum; the Big Stables ( 1719 ) with it Living Museum of the Horse; the Racecourse ( 1833 ); the Pavillon de Manse (in the end of the XVIIth century); or still the forest intended for the hunting with long straight paths in star.
