HISTORY & STYLE : A luxury hotel with a 1930’s charm
HistoryA luxury hotel, emblem of Le Touquet’s growth during the 1920 to 1930 era. The Hotel was built in 1925-28 by the Architect Auguste Bluysen and was named after the Duchess of Westminster. At the time, the town was still a new, upcoming holiday resort with the evocative name of Le Touquet Paris Plage. During the First World War, one of its casinos was converted into a 400-bed Hospital.
