The Château des Ducs d’Havré is a stunning fortress surrounded by moats, and has been rebuilt and renovated several times. You will love its charming keep, quadrilateral courtyard and ribbed-ceiling chapel. During your visit, you can also explore the chateau’s wonderful 6,000 m2 gardens with no fewer than 252 varieties and 360 types of perennial plants. The roses fill the air with their gorgeous fragrances.

This huge exhibition by the Mons Memorial Museum immerses you in a journey based on the events of the two world wars. Follow the fate and daily lives of women and men, soldiers and civilians, and witnesses of the period in the Mons region. Their personal accounts bring to life the items you can see throughout your visit, through notebooks and letters as well as interviews that give a sensitive view of these events.
