DAF Museum

Van Abbemuseum

The Van Abbemuseum is a museum of modern and contemporary art in the centre of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, set on the east bank of the Dommel River. Created in 1936, the museum is named after its founder, Henri van Abbe, who loved modern art and wanted to bring it to Eindhoven. It now houses a collection of 2,700 works of art: around 1,000 of them on paper, 700 paintings and 1,000 sculptures, installations and video works.
